Contraception and Pre-Conception Counselling in Cardiac Patients: We Can Do Better. Experience From a Tertiary Centre in New Zealand

BackgroundPhysiological changes in pregnancy can precipitate decompensation women with pre-existing cardiac disease leading to suboptimal fetal outcome addition maternal risk.
